Job Title: Environmental Cleaning Specialist
Location : Sturgis, MI (Onsite)
Contract Duration: Contract until 10/16/2026
Work Hours: 6AM-6PM
This position is NonExempt.
Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half.
Performs industrial cleaning of production totes.
May include mixing chemical solutions/solvents to clean necessary work areas.
Assist with daily floor tasks.
- Report through the Control Office/Inventory Control Manager to ensure that tickets are properly printed
- Understand chemicals usage Vacuum offices and common areas
- Change productively and handle other tasks
- Provide cleaning, floor care and project services as directed by supervisor

- Cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability
- Perform cleaning in a manner that meet or exceed hospital cleaning standards as outlined in the department policies
- Assist with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors
- Pulling trash, dusting, cleaning restrooms, vacuuming, and other cleaning duties as assigned by supervisor
- Understand that doing the little things well mean everything
- Delivering items directly to guests in room or providing support to housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, the front office, or other areas that need assistance
- Follow effective and proper procedures for prepping, repacking, storing, rotating, stocking product and cross merchandising
- Build relationships with coworkers, leaders, staff, patients and families in a professional manner
- Operate and maintain all floor cleaning/finishing equipment to include but not limited to floor buffer/burnishes, water extraction machine, and carpet cleaning equipment
- Oversee cleaning and maintenance of busses
- Assist customers at the drive-through window
- Polishing floors using industrial equipment
- Prepare trash for disposal by separating garbage and recyclable items
- Wear proper PPE when working with chemicals, General Cleaner, Janitor GCA Services Group, Inc. -- Canton, Ohio $8.55 an hour
- Perform quality control assessment, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
