Job Details
Our client is seeking a Managing Attorney to lead legal operations, oversee case strategy, and mentor a team of attorneys and support staff. This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for a seasoned family law attorney with strong litigation experience and a passion for team development and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic oversight of active cases and ensure alignment with client goals
Lead and manage a team of attorneys and legal support staff, including mentorship and performance development
Drive litigation strategy and oversee complex family law matters through trial
Maintain high standards of client communication and satisfaction
Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and procedural requirements
Monitor firm performance metrics, including caseload management and billing practices
Collaborate with executive leadership on firm initiatives and growth strategies
Represent the firm in professional and community settings as needed
Qualifications:
J.D. and active bar admission
8+ years of family law litigation experience, including trial work
Prior leadership or management experience within a law firm environment
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage workflows, and drive performance
Strong understanding of KPIs, case management, and operational efficiency
Excellent communication, coaching, and organizational skills
Tech-savvy with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment
Proven ability to balance client advocacy with team leadership responsibilities
