High School Diploma or GED
3+ years retail management/supervisory experience (required); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of and responsibility for financial services, to include the ability to read and understand P& L statements.
Experience in revenue-generating capability.
Demonstrated supervisory proficiency in hiring, counseling, and coaching to include conducting performance management sessions.
Ability to meet La Familia's driving expectations and proof of valid driver's license and liability insurance.
Stable Work History
Able to Work a Flexible Schedule, including Weekends.
Bilingual a Plus.
Expert knowledge of retail, pawn, or payday loan business operations.
Able to work in a fun, fast paced environment.
Must have a passion for customer service.
Must pass Criminal Background check and Drug Test screening (DT only in FL).
Must be able to bend, stoop and lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Work with Store Manager and Assistant Manager to coordinate activities guidance, and recommendations regarding store staff (hiring/ promotions/
Assist in implementing Store Manager and Region Leaders’ objectives regarding Associates’ sales and lending activities.
Approve every loan (through direction of Store Manager/Assistant Store
Work closely with Inventory Associates to control damage and prevents losses to
Maintains exceptional customer service through 100% application of Company
Work with Store Management regarding P&L responsibilities.
Implements and supports daily/weekly/monthly store performance goals set for
Achieve daily/weekly/monthly performance goals as it relates to retail sales, layaway programs, and loan growth as well as company audits regarding shrinkage and corporate True Blue Standards.
Coordinate staff coverage for the store through scheduling of management and
Assist in Management coverage on days when Store Manager is out of the store during regularly schedule days off, vacation, sick time, etc.
Additional responsibilities as requested or required.
Store Manager in Training will be expected to travel to existing locations to train and interact with a variety of store teams to learn the business.
