Job Summary and Qualifications

• You will ensure high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/ department
• You will monitor and support the achievement of internal/ external benchmarks, accreditations and designations, and ensure compliance with all policies procedures and regulatory standards
• You will manage and maintain staffing in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines, and manage operating expenses including the utilization of supplies and equipment, as well as identify cost reduction opportunities and implements actions to achieve savings
• You will lead in a way that inspires commitment to the vision, mission, and values of the organization, implement evidence based employee engagement practices, and identify development opportunities or training needs of individual employees and teams while providing coaching, feedback and training to improve performance

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing required; BSN required
• Master’s Degree in Nursing or related health field preferred (or actively in progress) 
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare required
• 1+ years of experience in a leadership role Preferred 
• Current license as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) in which he or she practices, in accordance with law and regulation is required 
• National Nursing Certification in Specialty or Nursing Leadership is Preferred
