The Manager works side by side with the General Manager to lead the overall operations of the restaurant on a daily basis. Specifically, this role is a leader and critical component in ensuring success in the following areas:

  • Financial stewardship management through food cost, labor cost and repairs & maintenance
  • Back of House and Guest Experience operations
  • Leadership and people development

General Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth mentality and foster an environment of exceptional service and hospitality.
  • Provide appropriate and effective training for all team members.
  • Execute all operational systems daily to ensure a clean, organized restaurant, prepared to deliver quality food and service.
  • Maintain high standards of service throughout the operational day by demonstrating leadership by example.
  • Perform coaching and discipline for actions that do not meet Mooyah’s standards and execute disciplinary documentation for all team members who fail to meet expectations.
  • Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Assist in the interviewing and hiring process for new team members.
  • Ensure all team members are knowledgeable of the policies and procedures by constantly asking questions, testing and monitoring their performance and giving timely feedback

  • Experience as a leader in food service operations
  • Years of Experience: 2
  • Skilled in time management
  • Self-directed and highly organized
  • Must be able to master all knowledge and skills of every position in the restaurant
