CompleteRx has an opportunity for an Inpatient Pharmacy Operations Manager to lead and support daily inpatient pharmacy operations at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH), a 772-bed acute care hospital in Tallahassee, FL.

TMH is a Level II Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

We are seeking a driven pharmacy operations leader dedicated to ensuring that medication preparation, dispensing, and distribution processes are safe, accurate, efficient, and compliant across all inpatient areas. As a key operational leader, you will report to the Assistant Director of Pharmacy – Inpatient Operations and support workflow optimization, automation system oversight, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance—while contributing to a high-performing pharmacy team.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee daily inpatient pharmacy operations and medication distribution workflows.
  • Supervise operational pharmacists and technicians; support training, onboarding, and performance feedback.
  • Manage automation systems and ensure timely replenishment, accuracy, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and state/federal regulations.
  • Ensure accurate controlled substance documentation and support diversion-prevention efforts.
  • Optimize staffing assignments and lead shift huddles to maintain service levels and communication.
  • Maintain proper drug storage, inventory integrity, and documentation across all areas.
  • Responsible for effective communications and teamwork; represents, communicates, and promotes inpatient pharmacy services to other providers, administrators, and others (as needed).
  • Performs other duties and fulfills other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree required.
  • Current license to practice pharmacy in the State of Florida.
  • Three to five (3-5) years hospital experience preferred.
  • One to two (1-2) years in a pharmacy management position with experience supervising technicians and operational pharmacists strongly preferred.
  • Trained in general use of pharmacy computer systems.
