- Proven experience as a fine dining server or in a similar upscale restaurant environment; casual dining or banquet experience is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation standards, and culinary terminology
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism
- Demonstrated leadership abilities including supervising staff, training new team members, and managing shift operations effectively
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and sanitation standards within the food industry
- Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with inventory control, food management, catering services, bar operations, or hotel hospitality is preferred
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interactions
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as required by the restaurant’s operational hours
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a comfortable dining experience
- Present menus confidently, highlighting specials and answering questions about dishes, ingredients, and wine pairings
- Review sales reports and manage goals.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and professionalism
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, promptly addressing any concerns or special requests to enhance their experience
- Assist GM and manage employees.
- Manage cash handling procedures accurately at the end of shifts and process payments seamlessly through POS systems
- Support inventory control by monitoring stock levels of beverages, garnishes, and service supplies; assist with stock replenishment as needed
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations and company policies
- Participate in staff training sessions to stay updated on service techniques, menu changes, and hospitality best practices
- Collaborate with management and team members to ensure smooth shift transitions and maintain a cohesive work environment
- Assist in supervising junior staff during busy periods, providing guidance on service excellence and operational procedures
