As a Manager, Compensation, you will report to a Director of Compensation, and manage the development, implementation and administration of compensation processes and structures that attract and retain the right talent. You will consult with HR and business partners to create solutions that drive desired behaviors and business results while remaining compliant with policies and regulations. You will consult and collaborate with stakeholders to create solutions and improve compensation processes.

Role Overview:

• Work closely with various teams on compensation programs that help drive business results.

• Collaborate with stakeholders on aspects of program/process design, implementation, improvement and ongoing administration of compensation initiatives such as annual pay planning, job structure, and market pricing.

• Foster a close working relationship with partners in Compensation, the broader Human Resources organization and assigned client groups.

• Perform ongoing competitive benchmarking for client organizations and advising business partners on the multiple considerations when determining salary and bonus recommendations.

• Understand and respond to unique considerations that come with supporting the Wealth Adviser Services organization.

• Assess and analyze external and internal competitive environment to identify market trends and implications for compensation.

• Lead and execute projects, leveraging project plans to identify key milestones and deliverables.

• Work collaboratively with members of the broader Compensation team to ensure consistency of methods and applications and providing project leadership within the broader Compensation team.

• Find solutions to problems of diverse scope where analysis requires sound judgement and evaluation of various data sources and intangible factors.

• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws governing compensation and incentive practices.

What you have

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics or Math preferred or equivalent work experience

• 4 years or more of human resources or compensation experience in a large and complex corporate environment

• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

• Experience with Workday or other Human Capital Management system.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in financial services strongly preferred.

• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.

• Commitment to providing superb customer service to our business partners.

• Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, team environment.

• Creative problem-solving skills; ability to think beyond immediate consequences.
