Responsibilities

The Manager, Brand Initiatives will oversee the strategic planning and execution of our Direct-to-Retail (DTR) licensed product initiatives. This includes effective collaboration across teams to develop and implement strategies that drive brand growth and elevate our market presence.

  • Develop and lead strategic plans for Direct-to-Retail licensed product initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall brand goals
  • Act as the central point of contact between Product Development, Licensing, and Buying teams, emphasizing consistency in product strategies
  • Facilitate communication across teams to address challenges, identify opportunities, and optimize timelines
  • Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for innovation and growth
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations for internal and external partners
  • Meet with licensors and attend content update presentations
  • Build strategic financial proposals for all new DTR licenses
  • Manage PLM kick off for all development; facilitate information flow to cross-functional teams
  • Responsible for managing and leading a high-performance team; provide leadership and guidance to team members, identify talents, improvement areas, goals and provide developmental opportunities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and 7+ years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategies that drive business growth
  • Familiarity with the product lifecycle from ideation to retail execution
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, facilitating clear and effective dialogue with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated leadership capability with prior management experience, fostering team engagement and performance
  • Ability to work independently while also thriving in collaborative environments, taking initiative to drive projects forward
  • Strong aptitude for partnering with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and enhance organizational effectiveness
  • Enthusiastic about pop culture and current trends

The pay range reflects the potential base salary range for this role. Individual base pay is determined by various factors such as relevant experience and skills, and the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Pay Range

$85,000 - $95,000
