Get to Know Your Team: 

• Hillcrest Hospital South is a full-service 180-bed hospital providing a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services using state-of-the-art technology in a friendly community setting. Consistent performance has helped the hospital be nationally recognized for patient safety.

• Perform routine and diagnostic mammography exams while adhering to all MQSA and ACR regulations. 
• Perform quality control functions related to mammography and DEXA. 
• Perform a variety of tasks involving operating of mammography/ radiographic equipment and other devices as necessary.  
• Calculate appropriate exposure factors and evaluate images for diagnostic quality.
• Maintain organized patient records. 
• Assist Radiologists and other health care practitioners with invasive procedures. 

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program in a school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA. 
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) 
• Complete a 40-hour specialized Mammography course and be eligible for the Mammography registry. 
• Advanced certification in Mammography is required within one year of hire. 

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
