Department: Radiology

Position Summary

• Performs all mammogram procedures offered by the hospital. 
• Assists with breast localization procedures.  Provides in-service for co-workers in area of expertise. 
• Performs other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

Education/Other Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an AMA approved program in radiologic technology.
• Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or if newly registry-eligible with (ARRT) shall obtain registry within 90 days of hire
• The position involves moving equipment and patients.  
• Position requires good communication with patients, physicians, co-workers and the public.
• Independent decisions as how to provide optimally diagnostic studies is required.
• The person should have mechanical ability and good mobility.
• Must have current BLS certification
