Schedule: Day Shift | Full-time

• Precision Diagnostic Imaging: Expertly operates mammography equipment to capture high-quality screenings, ensuring accurate patient positioning and optimal technical parameters for diagnostic clarity.

• Patient Education & Advocacy: Empowers patients by providing clear procedure explanations and essential education on the critical role of regular mammography in preventive breast health.

• Quality Assurance & PACS Integrity: Critically evaluates images for technical excellence, including contrast and definition, while ensuring meticulous documentation and prompt submission to PACS.

• Compliance & Technical Oversight: Maintains a high-functioning clinical environment by strictly adhering to radiation safety guidelines and performing proactive equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiology credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Requires
    completion of a federally approved 40 hour mammography training course within 3 Months (90 days) of
    hire and completion of 25 supervised mammography studies to meet Texas Department of State Health
    Services (TDSHS) requirements.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
  degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
