Maintenance Technician Supervisor, EPA Universal, HVAC certified only

**Overview**

We are seeking a skilled, motivated Maintenance Technician Supervisor to lead our maintenance team at our 250-unit, 2-story, conventional-market apartment community in Southside Jacksonville. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of our multi-unit apartment community, while providing a safe and comfortable environment for all residents. The ideal candidate will bring a comprehensive understanding of maintenance procedures, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for excellence in property management.

**Key Responsibilities**

•  Supervise and lead the maintenance team to ensure efficient, effective, and timely completion of all property maintenance tasks. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to maximize the operational efficiency of all building systems and equipment.
•  Coordinate and oversee all repair and installation activities for a range of systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and more. 
•  Conduct regular inspections of the apartment property to identify areas requiring maintenance and develop action plans to address them.
•  Train, mentor, and evaluate team members, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety and quality standards.
•  Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, inspections, and budgets. 
•  Collaborate with property management and other departments to ensure consistent and timely communication of maintenance activities and needs. 
•  Assist in budget preparation and ensure efficient allocation of resources to meet maintenance objectives.

**Licenses & Certifications**

• EPA Universal Certification (Required)
• HVAC Certification (Required)
• CPO Certification (Required)
• Valid Driver's License (Required)

**Education**

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
