Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment to ensure smooth operations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to diagnose equipment issues accurately and swiftly.
- Maintain and repair electro-mechanical systems including motors, drives, sensors, and controls to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and support PLC-controlled equipment, demonstrating a basic to intermediate level of knowledge and competence.
- Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems to maintain safe and efficient operation, adhering to all safety protocols and standards.
- Support manufacturing operations by minimizing downtime and responding to equipment failures promptly and effectively.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and practices based on historical maintenance data.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in maintaining and repairing electro-mechanical systems including motors, drives, sensors, and controls.
- Experience in troubleshooting and supporting PLC-controlled equipment at a basic to intermediate level.
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and their safe and efficient operation.
- Demonstrated ability to respond promptly and effectively to equipment failures, minimizing downtime.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to adhering to safety protocols and standards.
- A relevant technical degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
