Maintenance Technician – Relocation assistance

We are seeking a committed individual to join our client’s team, where maintaining the functionality and efficiency of plant systems is a top priority. This position requires a candidate with robust mechanical skills and the ability to think proactively about maintenance needs. **Primary Duties:**
- Master the setup, operational processes, and adjustment parameters of a variety of production machinery.
- Strict compliance with safety standards, promptly resolving any hazardous situations.
- Diagnose and address machinery repair needs, including plumbing and electrical repairs.
- Collaborate effectively with machine operators, supervisors, and management to ensure seamless operations.
- Implement and oversee the preventive maintenance program for all production equipment.
- Maintain a sufficient stock of spare parts for routine maintenance needs.
- Conduct aesthetic repairs and maintenance, such as painting and sealing, when production schedules allow.
- Develop a routine inspection process to proactively identify maintenance issues.
- Be available on-call to address any urgent maintenance concerns.
- Advocate adherence to company policies and procedures, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.

**Candidate Requirements:**
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least three years of experience in sectors such as electrical systems, refrigeration, welding, and general maintenance.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies is beneficial.
- Preferably, certifications in Industrial Refrigeration and forklift operation.
- Preference for candidates with experience in the food processing sector.
- Capability to acquire a Commercial Driver’s License is an advantage.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Competency in drafting standard reports and communications.

**Working Environment:**
- Majorly based in production zones with exposure to operational noise, machinery, and diverse environmental conditions.
- Regular physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Interaction with food allergens may occur.
- Requires solid communication abilities across various platforms (phone, email, in-person meetings, video calls).
