Job Details

Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of production machinery, equipment, and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations. This role requires troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting production goals with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections on production line machinery, packaging equipment, conveyors, and facility systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize production interruptions.
  • Diagnose issues using technical manuals and schematics; implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and parts inventory.
  • Collaborate with production teams to prioritize maintenance needs and support operational schedules.
  • Assist with installation, modification, and testing of new equipment or upgrades.
  • Adhere to all safety, quality, and sanitation standards in the plant.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance needs and perform repairs outside regular hours when required.
  • Recommend improvements to equipment performance, reliability, and maintenance practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training or vocational certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic).
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and good manufacturing practices.
  • Ability to lift, bend, stand for extended periods, and work in diverse manufacturing environments.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, overtime, and emergency call-ins as needed.
