JOB SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electrical and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance of equipment and facilities. This role requires a hands-on professional who can independently identify root causes and implement effective solutions, going beyond routine maintenance to resolve critical system issues. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, analyze, and resolve complex electrical and mechanical equipment issues Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to identify malfunctions Perform preventive maintenance to ensure smooth operation of machines and systems Assemble, install, and repair wiring, electrical components, piping systems, and machinery Inspect drives, motors, belts, and fluid levels; replace filters and perform maintenance tasks Utilize tools including hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments Maintain records of maintenance and repair work including type and cost Clean and lubricate machinery components such as shafts, bearings, and gears Dismantle equipment to access and remove defective parts using appropriate tools and equipment Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED 5–7 years of relevant maintenance experience Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with ability to identify root causes Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills Detail-oriented with a team player mindset Basic knowledge of machines and tools including design, use, and repair Basic understanding of raw materials, production processes, and quality control Basic knowledge of engineering principles and technology applications Willingness to adhere to fixed work schedule and relocate at own expense if non-local candidate Education: High School
