Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for machinery? Are you always the first person to roll up your sleeves and dive into the intricate world of mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems? If you answered yes, then this opportunity might be for you. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is not for the faint-hearted, but for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves a good challenge, and has a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, your primary role will be to ensure the smooth operation of all our machinery and equipment. You will be responsible for:
1. Performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to minimize downtime.
2. Inspecting machinery to identify and respond to problems in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Repairing and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure optimal functionality.
4. Utilizing your welding skills to repair and maintain various types of machinery and equipment.
5. Performing plumbing repairs and maintenance as needed.
6. Calibrating equipment to ensure that it meets all the necessary specifications and regulations.
7. Troubleshooting problems with machinery and implementing effective solutions.
8. Collaborating with the rest of the maintenance team to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong technical aptitude and a commitment to quality. The following qualifications are required:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance technician role.
2. Proven experience in maintaining and repairing mechanical systems.
3. Proficiency in preventive maintenance procedures.
4. Extensive knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
5. Strong welding and plumbing skills.
6. Experience in equipment calibration and troubleshooting.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. A high degree of physical fitness and ability to lift heavy machinery.
11. A valid driver's license.
