Maintenance Technician

Exact Staff is hiring for our client in Camarillo, CA, seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support ongoing manufacturing and facility operations. This role is responsible for maintaining equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and ensuring a safe, efficient production environment.

Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Pay Rate: $30–$32 per hour
• Location: Camarillo, CA
• Industry: Manufacturing / Facility Maintenance
• Schedule: Full-Time (details provided during interview)

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on expertise in electrical, mechanical, and preventive maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems and contribute to continuous improvement. Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities / Qualifications

• Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
• Operate and support PLC troubleshooting and system adjustments as needed
• Repair or replace faulty components, including welding and general facility repairs
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and equipment schematics
• Maintain accurate records, work orders, and maintenance logs using CMMS software
• Support facility-related maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs
• Assist in supervising or mentoring junior maintenance staff during shift operations
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, environmental standards, and company regulations
• Support production schedules by reducing downtime and maintaining operational efficiency
