Location: Buffalo, NY
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 3:30PM
Pay Range: Starting Pay will range between $28.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time, hourly position.

Job Overview
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is in charge of performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment. Their duties include fixing machinery, plumbing, heating, wiring, inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards, and identifying, planning, and scheduling major repairs.
Responsibilities
• Follows all safety rules & regulations.
• Performs general facility & machine maintenance.
• Maintains building systems and keeps the site in good working order.
• Keeps hand tools, power tools, the maintenance shop, and supplies organized & clean.
• Building renovation (drywall replacement, patching & painting) and electronics (PLC/Motor Drives & repair/maintenance).
• Maintains accurate records of performed maintenance tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• GED or High School Diploma required
• At least 3 years of relative experience.
• Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician.
• Physically capable of lifting 40 pounds.
• Experienced in operating a variety of equipment including hand tools, power tools, snow blowers, etc.
Core Competencies
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems.
• Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance operations.
• Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
Preferences
• Forklift Certified.
• JLG Ariel/Scissor Lift Certified.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Associates Degree preferred.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
100% On Site Based
