Maintenance Technician

As a Facility Maintenance Specialist, your primary responsibility is to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of power plant equipment and infrastructure. Your role encompasses diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems within the plant to maintain optimal performance. You will be tasked with executing both corrective and preventative maintenance tasks, including the calibration and installation of equipment. You'll also contribute to technical strategy discussions and offer suggestions to enhance plant operations. Ensuring safety compliance and maintaining an organized work environment are key aspects of your role, along with supporting the site's inventory management. You will engage in continuous learning to refine your skills and support the plant’s safety initiatives. Collaboration with team members and contractors, the ability to read schematics, and proficiency with various maintenance tools and software are essential. Flexibility to respond to emergent situations and work in diverse conditions, like confined spaces or extreme temperatures, is required.
