Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities
- Perform planned and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment using a work order system
- Accurately document work performed and resolutions for supervisor review and close-out
- Respond to routine service requests and emergency situations, assessing and resolving issues efficiently
- Assist with water-related incidents (e.g., flooding, leaks) using equipment such as pumps, water extraction tools, mops, and squeegees
- Provide HVAC and plumbing support for campus events and operational needs
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment related to facilities maintenance
- Ensure work areas are clean and organized at the end of each shift and upon task completion
- Support weather-related or other emergency response efforts as needed
- Previous experience in building maintenance, facilities, or a related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and general building systems
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond to urgent situations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to support after-hours or emergency situations when required

Pay Range: Hourly $27.00 to $28.50
