Job Description: Maintenance Technician

A Maintenance Technician in Gastonia, NC, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs industrial manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, plumbing, and mechanical systems . This full-time role focuses on preventive maintenance, ensuring safety compliance, and minimizing downtime for machinery. Key requirements include industrial experience, blueprint reading, and ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventive/Corrective Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, and plumbing, as well as production machinery like stamping presses.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical failures and resolve issues quickly to maintain production efficiency.
• Technical Support: Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams to repair or replace defective parts.
• Safety & Reporting: Comply with all safety regulations, document maintenance activities, and maintain a clean work area.
• Tooling Support: Assist with tooling changes, sharpening, and adjustments (specifically for stamping/die operations).

• Experience: Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, plumbing, and mechanical repair. Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Physical: Ability to stand/walk for long periods, stoop, and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Requirements: Must have personal tools for maintenance tasks.

• Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and reach.
• Frequent lifting of 25+ lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Work involves walking around the production floor for most of the shift
