Minimum 1–3 years of property maintenance or related experience preferred
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, and general repairs
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
Experience with apartment turns and preparing units for move-in
Knowledge of preventative maintenance and routine inspections
Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow company standards
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work orders in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and customer service skills when interacting with residents
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
HVAC certification and/or EPA certification is a plus
- Complete resident maintenance work orders efficiently and accurately
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, and general carpentry issues
- Prepare vacant units for move-ins, including painting, cleaning, repairs, and ensuring units meet company standards
- Conduct routine property inspections and preventative maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and curb appeal of the property, including grounds, common areas, and amenities
- Monitor and manage trash areas to ensure proper disposal and cleanliness
- Assist with emergency maintenance calls as needed
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and company policies
- The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall upkeep, repair, and maintenance of the property to ensure a safe, clean, and well maintained community for residents. This position handles daily maintenance work orders, unit turns, inspections, and grounds maintenance in a timely and professional manner.
