Maintenance Supervisor

Supervises building and vehicle maintenance, repair, and upkeep for Agency facilities and vehicles. This role serves as a leader in maintaining a safe environment, acting as an innovator to solve complex facility issues while upholding the highest standards of integrity and service.
- Partnership & Teamwork: Manages the maintenance and upkeep of the vehicle fleet; collaborates with all departments as allies to ensure transportation needs support the Agency mission.
- Integrity & Fairness: Procures competitive bids for repairs on CAA facilities and equipment, ensuring a fair, honest, and transparent selection process.
- Innovation & Research: Develops and executes a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all vehicles, buildings, and equipment to exceed expectations in operational readiness.
- Accountability: Responsible for the timely licensing of all CAA vehicles and maintaining rigorous compliance records.
- Responsiveness: Receives and adapts operations to implement transportation guidelines issued by the DOT and Department of Public Safety.
- High Expectations: Develops and enforces premium standards for grounds upkeep; listens to facility concerns and takes proactive action to ensure all sites exceed Health Department standards.
- Problem Solving: Oversees all major and minor repairs; acts as a lead builder and troubleshooter for CAA infrastructure.
- Communication: Submits weekly maintenance reports to the Division Director, ensuring consistent and open lines of communication regarding project status.
- Skill & Service: Performs expert carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting work, demonstrating a commitment to quality service.
- Safety & Trust: Maintains and audits Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS); ensures staff are trained and responsible for handling hazardous materials safely.
- Respect Always: Supervises and performs grounds maintenance; leads assigned personnel with no judgment and a focus on professional growth.
- Leadership: Participates in the hiring, discipline, and termination of personnel, maintaining trust and accountability within the team.
- Support & Protection: Manages fire drills and general fire protection systems to ensure the safety and connections of all staff and clients.
- Curiosity & Growth: Attends training and maintains required certifications; remains curious about new industry techniques to improve Agency efficiency.
- This position requires frequent travel to offsite locations to provide direct support to various facilities.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Director, remaining adaptable to the evolving needs of the Agency.
Working Conditions:
Work is conducted in a moderate-paced environment focused on providing a safe, comfortable environment for low-to-moderate income homes. Requires the physical strength to lift 85 pounds and move heavy loads. Must be adaptable to various weather conditions, airborne particles, and working in confined or inaccessible areas.
- Education: Associate’s degree in building trades OR completion of advanced vocational training plus four (4) years of paid experience in construction/maintenance.
- Interpersonal: Proven ability to work as a partner with people at all levels of command and external vendors.
- Licensure: Possess a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License.
- Physical: Ability to meet all physical requirements of the role without restriction.
