We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the food manufacturing industry. This role requires a hands-on individual who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get the job done. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of our manufacturing equipment and systems, ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Supervisor, your duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Performing preventive maintenance on all equipment and systems in accordance with established schedules and procedures.
2. Diagnosing and repairing faults in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
3. Operating and maintaining PLC, VFD, HMI, and CMMS systems.
4. Ensuring compliance with GMP, HACCP, and other relevant safety and quality standards.
5. Responding promptly to breakdowns and carrying out repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible.
6. Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
7. Use of mill and press machinery.
8. Working with ammonia refrigeration systems, freezers, HVAC systems, and other industrial equipment.
9. Using PPE correctly and following all safety procedures to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.
10. Collaborating closely with other team members and departments to optimize production processes and improve overall plant performance.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience with PLC, VFD, HMI, and CMMS systems is a plus.
3. Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and other relevant safety and quality standards.
4. Experience with mill and press machinery, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and industrial equipment.
5. Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems, freezers, HVAC systems, and 480v electrical systems.
6. Proficiency with Allen Bradley controls and systems is a plus.
7. A strong commitment to safety and a solid understanding of the correct use of PPE.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and repair faults in a wide range of equipment and systems.
9. A proactive approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Good communication skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels of the organization.
