Maintenance Supervisor / Manager

ROLE OVERVIEW:

A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor / Manager to lead a team of maintenance technicians in a fast-paced production environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting production through effective maintenance operations. The position is ideal for a strong lead technician stepping into leadership or an experienced supervisor who thrives in a hands-on setting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise, coach, and develop a team of Maintenance Technicians
• Plan and prioritize daily maintenance activities based on production needs
• Ensure execution of preventative and predictive maintenance programs
• Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve equipment issues and reduce downtime
• Support production by responding quickly to mechanical failures
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation
• Partner with production leadership to achieve operational goals
• Drive continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures
• Assist with parts inventory, vendor coordination, and facility maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 7 or more years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
• 2 or more years of leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills including motors, pumps, gearboxes, and conveyors
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
• High School Diploma or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance programs
• Familiarity with CMMS systems
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced production environment
• Multi-trade experience such as electrical, HVAC, compressors, or welding
