Maintenance Supervisor / Manager – Manufacturing | Hands-On Leadership | Multi-Trade Required

We are hiring a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor / Manager to lead a skilled team of maintenance technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures equipment reliability, reduces downtime, and supports production with effective leadership and hands-on troubleshooting. Ideal candidates are experienced lead technicians ready to step into supervision or seasoned maintenance leaders who thrive on the floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 3–12 maintenance technicians
• Plan, prioritize, and execute daily maintenance and repair work
• Ensure preventative and predictive maintenance programs are completed
• Troubleshoot mechanical systems (motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors) to minimize downtime
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and CMMS documentation
• Partner with production leadership to meet daily output and operational goals
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives for equipment reliability
• Support facility maintenance, parts inventory, and vendor coordination
• Enforce safety policies and procedures

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
• 2+ years supervising or leading maintenance technicians
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills across motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and multi-trade systems
• Experience in manufacturing/production environments
• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with preventative/predictive maintenance programs
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
• Multi-trade skills: electrical, HVAC, compressors, welding, valves
• Hands-on leadership in small-to-medium manufacturing or food plants (10–150 employees)
• Proven track record of reducing downtime and improving equipment reliability
