Responsibilities:Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor a team of technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Recruit, develop, and retain talented team members who are passionate about excellence.
- Supervise and provide oversight over work processes in technical areas. Create personalized development plans to help your team grow their technical skills.
- Proactively identify and resolve roadblocks while providing effective decision support to the team.
- Build a learning environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
Operations & Technical Management
- Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
- Develop weekly work schedules and coordinate technical activities across departments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with mechanical and electrical systems, automation, mechanical equipment, fluid power, and industrial networks.
- Ensure your team has the right tools, resources, and support to succeed.
- Implement efficient work procedures and best practices.
Strategic Impact
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on feedback from frontline support teams.
- Research and recommend new technologies, processes, and equipment to keep us competitive.
- Partner with plant management on reliability, safety, and operational excellence.
- Champion Research & Development activities and innovation projects.
- Lead change management efforts with confidence and clarity.

Skills and Abilities
- Fundamental expertise in mechanical, electro-mechanical, instrumentation, and automation systems, or other related technical skills and abilities.
- Experience with maintenance management systems (work orders, preventative maintenance, scheduling).
- Knowledge of millwright, machinist, or engineering principles is a plus.
- Proficiency with computer systems and software applications.

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 60lbs.
- This position requires standing, walking, climbing, twisting, reaching, bending, and lifting.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in industrial plant maintenance. Strong background in mechanical repairs. Electrical systems, and automation experience highly desirable. Hands-on experience troubleshooting industrial networks and automated systems a plus. Proven supervisory or team leadership experience required.
Education: Associate degree in industrial maintenance, electro-mechanical technology, mechanical engineering, or related technical field preferred. Relevant military technical training welcomed. Equivalent practical experience may substitute for formal education.
