This role is not available for any form of immigration sponsorship or support, including completion of the Form I-983 training plan required for STEM OPT. 

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintenance and repair of buildings, plant and manufacturing equipment. This person will be tasked with scheduling preventative and predictive maintenance while assisting in the development of safety programs. This role is critical to help ensure the equipment and facility is producing product in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. Maintenance Supervisor reports to Manager, Facilities and Maintenance. 

Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include: 

  • Lead, coach, and mentor maintenance mechanics in daily activities to sustain and improve production equipment. 

  • Develop a standard of work and challenge the current process to deliver the correct process or equipment improvement for the department and company. 

  • Lead and impart Lean Principles to direct reports to improve equipment availability and spread learning to prevent future breakdowns. 

  • Create integrated development plans, facilitate cross-functional and multi leveled teams through related decisions to achieve milestones, and ensure timely completion of deliverables of projects and facility work. 

  • Schedules and monitors preventative maintenance, and predictive maintenance in order to be the critical resource supporting operations and projects. 

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will lead and inspire their team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly results in the areas of safety, quality, cost, and reliability. This person will model Pharmavite' s purpose, beliefs, and values for their employees. 

You'll be most successful in this role if you have: 

  • Ability to lead delivery of required results in safety, quality, productivity and cost. 

  • Demonstrate the ability to coach, develop and build high performing teams including cross training and empowering individuals. 

  • Ability to prioritize and delegate operational tasks and duties. 

  • Bring a continuous improvement mindset, constantly challenging the status quo. 

  • Sets the standard and tone for the shift, including quality, GMPs, safety, etc. 

  • Develop, track, and drive metrics for yourself and your direct reports to ensure accountability. 

To take on these challenges, you'll need to have: 

  • Lean/Six Sigma experience in a manufacturing environment with ability to lead and impart knowledge. 

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical aptitude with ability to learn and develop others.

  • Sense of ownership, urgency, and attention to detail is required, with prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.

  • Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of computers and software with the ability to extract, interpret, utilize, and improve data. 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills across all levels. 

  • Requires 5+ years' experience in Industrial Electrical/Mechanics. 

  • 4-year college degree preferred; Associate degree (or equivalent coursework accepted or equivalent technical training experience.

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • Directly supervises a team of 11-15 employees.

National Target Base Pay Range: $80,000.00 - $133,000.00 

The salary range for this position is based on national standards. For candidates in California and the New York metro, the Target Base Pay Range is $88,000.00 - $146,000.00, to reflect the cost of living and market conditions in those areas. 

Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications and job-related skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. This information is provided to applicants in accordance with state and local laws. 

Base pay is only one component of our total rewards offerings, and we will take the full offering into consideration when presenting an offer of employment.  Our total rewards package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, Medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401K match, and other wellness benefits.  

Pharmavite provides compensation for all overtime hours worked by non-exempt (hourly) employees in accordance with state and federal law. The need to work overtime hours will be determined by management, based on customer and business necessity, to meet the needs of our business. Pharmavite may require employees to work overtime.
