Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Supervise and direct maintenance personnel, assign workload, and provide performance feedback
  • Plan and optimize maintenance operations to maximize equipment uptime, yields, and cost efficiency
  • Coordinate outside service vendors, manage purchase orders, and control maintenance budgets
  • Support and assist major engineering and capital projects (planning, design, installation, startup)
  • Develop and track maintenance KPIs and department performance metrics
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety, and regulatory standards
  • Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Utilize CMMS to manage work orders from planning through completion
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of pumps, valves, sensors, actuators, and control systems
  • Interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and P&IDs
  • Support breakdown analysis, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain maintenance documentation and equipment libraries
  • Ensure adherence to LOTO and safety protocols

Qualifications – Needed
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 4 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Maintenance leadership experience preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of maintenance planning experience preferred
  • Strong background in industrial plant maintenance within food or regulated manufacturing
  • Experience with preventive & predictive maintenance programs
  • Proficiency using CMMS systems
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting knowledge (AC/DC)
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing pneumatic systems
  • Proven ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and P&IDs
  • Experience with breakdown analysis and failure analysis
  • Understanding of GMP, HACCP, LOTO, and 5S practices
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
