ABOUT THE JOB
Plans, coordinates, and schedules maintenance activities to improve workforce productivity, equipment reliability, and work quality. Anticipates and eliminates potential delays by ensuring labor, parts, materials, and equipment access are available for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance. Supports safe, compliant, and efficient operations within a food manufacturing environment 
 
WHAT YOU'LL DO
 Develops and maintains the maintenance planning and scheduling system to support preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities. 
Creates detailed maintenance job plans including labor requirements, materials, spare parts, tools, equipment access, and safety procedures. 
Develops weekly and daily maintenance schedules that align with production requirements and minimize operational impact. 
Coordinates and prioritizes work orders in collaboration with Maintenance Supervisors, Technicians, and Operations. 
Maintains accurate maintenance records, including work history, asset performance, and spare parts usage within the CMMS. 
Plans and tracks preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and legal requirements (FDA, USDA, OSHA, etc.). 
Coordinates with the storeroom and procurement teams to ensure availability of critical spare parts and supports inventory level optimization. 
Supports capital projects, equipment installations, and upgrades by providing planning, scheduling, and resource coordination. 
Generates and distributes weekly and monthly maintenance performance reports, including KPIs related to reliability, compliance, and labor utilization. 
Routinely communicates with maintenance and operations personnel to promote smooth execution of maintenance activities and adherence to safety and sanitation standards. 
Adheres to food safety, quality, and legal compliance requirements. In the event of a crisis (e.g., equipment failure, recall support, emergency shutdown), supports maintenance response activities as outlined in site emergency and crisis management procedures. 
Adheres to safety, health, and environmental standards of the facility. 
Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary.

 Education & Experience
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or a related field (preferred). 
  • 3 or more years of maintenance planning and scheduling experience, preferably in a food manufacturing or other regulated manufacturing environment.
