Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled individual to perform routine and preventive maintenance on commercial laundry machinery, conveyor systems, pumps, and associated mechanical equipment. The role involves diagnosing and repairing electrical faults in three-phase power systems and control circuits to minimize equipment downtime. Responsibilities include inspecting, replacing, and maintaining gaskets and other mechanical components to ensure optimal machine performance and safety. The position requires climbing ladders and accessing elevated equipment safely for inspections, repairs, and installations as needed. Collaborating with production and engineering teams to schedule maintenance activities and responding promptly to emergency repair needs is essential. Maintaining accurate maintenance records and reporting on equipment status, repairs, and parts inventory is also required. Adherence to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements is mandatory while performing maintenance tasks. Overtime work may be needed to support continuous manufacturing operations and meet production deadlines. Additionally, the role involves responding to maintenance calls in a timely manner, inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and testing machinery, and cleaning and lubricating shafts, bearings, and gears on machinery.

Essential Functions

  • Be punctual and maintain excellent attendance.
  • Meet established productivity standards.
  • Utilize CMMS system to log all work and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Have a general knowledge of electricity and a good understanding of computer-based programming.
  • Work individually or assist other team members in troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Operate scissors lift, boom lift, and forklift safely.
  • Follow all company safety rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Work well with a diverse workforce and follow directions given by team leads and supervisors.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and keep work areas safe, clean, and organized.
  • Work past the schedule as production issues may arise or work additional shifts as needed, including weekends, evenings, and emergency call-ins.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Work in all areas of maintenance as needed, including janitorial tasks.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand on feet for up to 12 hours a day.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with production maintenance.
  • Sufficient manual dexterity to work on equipment.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling.

Hours: 2:00am - 12:30pm
