My client, a Frozen Bakery Industry Leader, has the maintenance opportunity that you are looking for! I am looking for a motivated Maintenance Mechanic for the New Jersey Maintenance team!
The Maintenance Mechanic will conduct machine set up, troubleshoot equipment failures, and perform repair and preventative maintenance services ensuring that all safety procedures are being followed.
The responsibilities of the position are to be performed in accordance with established occupational safety, food safety, quality, cost, and quantity specifications. The individual in this role must be comfortable working proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment that is subject to long hours (routinely 10+ hours) including evenings, some weekends and an on-call status.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in food manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of operations and the lean manufacturing processes.
- Excellent organization, time management skills.
- Highly energetic, ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills.
- Able to multi-task and manage shifting priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well with other departments, leaders and subordinates.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
