Maintenance Mechanic

Pay Range: $32 $35/hour
We re seeking an experienced Mechanic IV to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, reduce downtime, and lead preventive maintenance initiatives. This is a hands-on, versatile role that combines mechanical, electrical, and fabrication expertise.
What You ll Do
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic).
- Lead preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
- Train and mentor junior mechanics (I III) across all machinery.
- Partner with supervisors and team leaders to keep production running smoothly.
- Manage parts inventory and place orders.
- Lead and track projects, ensuring deadlines and safety standards are met.
- Support TPM/Lean initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Build and assemble safety guards, shelves, tables, and conveyors.
- Operate welding and fabrication tools (Stick, MIG/TIG welding knowledge a plus).
- Design and produce prototypes or small components with 3D printing.
- Work with plastics, including cutting, forming, and assembling components.
- Repair and maintain industrial sewing machines, specifically rotary hook computerized stitching machines. (highly valued)
What We re Looking For
- 5 8 years of relevant mechanical and electrical experience.
- Technical degree in electronics, robotics, or related field.
- Trade school accreditation + Journeyman s electrical license (a plus).
- Hands-on welding/fabrication skills.
- Experience with 3D printing, design, and prototype creation is highly valued.
- Plastics fabrication experience highly valued.
- Ability to repair and maintain industrial sewing machines.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills.
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and long periods of standing.
- Versatility to move between welding, plastics, and machinery repair.
