What You Need
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; skilled using hand and power tools.
• Good communication skills and a professional, positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently, follow direction, and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Commitment to Yancey’s Fancy GMPs, sanitation, and food‑safety requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in food, beverage, or dairy manufacturing.
• Industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with three‑phase electrical, motor controls, or pneumatics.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings; Microsoft Office proficiency.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to bend, stretch, reach, lift up to 75 lbs, and work from ladders or platforms.
• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 36°F to 85°F depending on department
What You’ll Do
• Perform preventive maintenance and light repairs on mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems to support plant efficiency and safety.
• Follow all GMPs, SQF, HACCP, and company food‑safety and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area throughout the facility.
• Collaborate with team members across departments to support daily production needs.
• Complete required training and update skills for new equipment or technology.
• Perform other duties as assigned by plant management.
