We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of equipment and facility maintenance within a fast-paced food production environment. The ideal candidate will ensure plant machinery and systems are safe, efficient, and reliable to support uninterrupted operations while maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, train, and manage the maintenance team to ensure high performance and accountability.
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for production machinery and facility systems.
  • Monitor and optimize maintenance workflows to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
  • Coordinate planning and scheduling of maintenance activities to align with production schedules.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automated systems issues to provide timely solutions.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and ensure appropriate stocking levels are maintained.
  • Oversee maintenance documentation, work orders, and reporting systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and food industry requirements.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and quality teams to support production goals.
  • Monitor maintenance budgets and recommend cost-effective improvements.
  • Assist in capital planning and equipment upgrades as needed.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Experience in food manufacturing or a highly regulated production environment is highly desirable.

Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of industrial machinery maintenance (mechanical, electrical, PLC controls).
  • Experience with preventive maintenance software (CMMS) and related tools.
  • Solid understanding of safety practices and regulatory compliance in manufacturing.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.

Leadership Skills
  • Excellent leadership and team development abilities.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic production setting.

Working Conditions
  • Industrial work environment with exposure to production equipment.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including possible weekends or on-call support.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment or parts as needed.
