About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead facilities, equipment reliability, and technical operations across our Massachusetts brewery locations and based out of our Seaport, Boston location. This is a working leadership role. Someone who can set strategy, build systems, lead a team, and still jump in when needed.
You'll oversee preventive maintenance, equipment uptime, facility operations, and continuous improvement while partnering closely with brewing, packaging, hospitality, and operations leadership. Some travel between sites is expected.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and develop maintenance technicians and facilities staff.
- Set preventive maintenance strategy and execution priorities.
- Build a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with operations leaders to anticipate needs and avoid downtime.
Equipment & Facilities Reliability
- Oversee maintenance of brewing, packaging, utilities, HVAC, and building systems.
- Ensure preventive maintenance programs are documented and executed.
- Manage emergency repairs and downtime mitigation.
- Coordinate vendor relationships and capital improvement projects.
Operational & Financial Oversight
- Track maintenance budgets, parts inventory, and contractor spend.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting.
- Identify efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
- Support long-term facility planning.

Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years maintenance leadership experience
- Strong mechanical/electrical/facilities background
- Brewery or beverage production experience
- Ability to lead teams and work hands-on when needed
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred
- Brewery or beverage production experience
- Experience in manufacturing, brewery, hospitality, or production environment
- Controls/PLC familiarity
- HVAC or utility systems expertise
- Welding/fabrication experience
- CMMS experience
Working Environment
- Production brewery environment
- Indoor/outdoor facilities work
- Occasional off-hours support for urgent repairs
- Physical work including lifting, climbing, and standing
