Why You Will Love this Job

As the Maintenance & Facilities Manager, you will supervise and lead Maintenance & Facilities operations for Hattiesburg Machining and Assembly plants. You will be responsible for tactical and strategic planning/execution of day-to-day activities and projects. You will coordinate with Engineering, Operations, and supporting departments to complete equipment installations and projects efficiently.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Supervise facilities and maintenance supervisors and planners; ensure safety training and execute talent development through training, job shadowing, and project assignments
  • Own and improve TPM processes; utilize maintenance metrics and OEE measurements; manage equipment life cycle with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production partners to improve reliability and reduce downtime
  • Develop predictive maintenance tools and training (vibration analysis, ultrasonic monitoring, MTBF reports); use data to prepare Capital Plans and execute equipment replacements, retrofits, and upgrades with Engineering
  • Manage SAP work order system to plan, track, and document work; track project schedules and resource allocations; generate reports for labor tracking, equipment repairs, and components
  • Manage tool crib inventory at effective levels aligned with business needs; negotiate and purchase materials, equipment, and services; partner with Engineering on stock items and obsolete material management
  • Track and monitor plant PM progress; ensure facility compliance while reducing costs.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial technology, business, or technical field. Required education may be substituted with equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 10 years industrial maintenance and facilities experience in manufacturing with a minimum of 5 years in supervisor or manager role leading technical teams.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting with working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and crane systems; ability to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals; proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Effective coaching, facilitation, and team building skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and give/receive constructive feedback
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills with ability to use data to identify improvements, assess financial impacts, and get results through mentoring in a results-oriented environment.
