Maintenance Clerk

Job Title: Maintenance Clerk
Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Hours / Schedule: 1st shift,40 hours, onsite
Type: Contract

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and systems support to the Maintenance Department within a chemical production facility, focusing on SAP MRO processes.
• Create, update, and close maintenance work orders in SAP, ensuring accurate data entry and timely processing.
• Manage MRO inventory, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams for replenishment.
• Create and process purchase requisitions, follow up on purchase orders, and work with vendors to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing job packages, ensuring necessary materials and documentation are available prior to work execution.
• Track work order status, update completion details in SAP, and generate maintenance reports and KPIs.
• Maintain maintenance files, generate reports, support audits, and coordinate meetings and contractors.

Requirements

• Minimum 0 years of related experience.
• Experience with SAP, particularly SAP MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) processes including material management, requisitions, and work order support.
• Strong data entry skills and ability to coordinate procurement activities efficiently.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and support maintenance operations in a chemical production environment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
