We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Consulting Mail Courier in the Mortgage industry. This exciting role is not your typical mail courier job. You will be a vital part of our operations, ensuring that important mortgage documents are handled with integrity, professionalism, and punctuality. The right candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has an impeccable attention to detail, and has a passion for providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
1. Safely and timely delivery of mortgage documents and packages to various destinations including banks, financial institutions, and clients.
2. Careful handling of sensitive documents ensuring their integrity and confidentiality.
3. Maintain accurate records of all deliveries and collections, including signatures for proof of receipt.
4. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws regarding transport and delivery of documents.
5. Provide consultative services to our clients on the delivery process, ensuring they understand the timeline and process for their mortgage documents.
6. Regularly inspect, maintain, and clean the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in optimal condition.
7. Coordinate with the central office and team members to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
8. Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Consulting Mail Courier position will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a courier or delivery driver role, preferably within the mortgage or financial industry.
2. A clean driving record is essential.
3. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive documents with utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
4. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
5. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
6. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
7. Ability to lift heavy packages and documents.
8. High school diploma or equivalent.
9. Familiarity with GPS devices or map apps.
