• W2 Contract-to-Permanent Hire, 12 Months
• This position is 100% onsite. The initial training period (one week) is in Owings Mills, MD. The actual work location will be in Columbia, MD (Merriweather).
• The schedule for this position is Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Periodically, this individual will need to work Saturdays – with a weekday off in those particular instances.
Overview & Responsibilities
Work with a leading organization as a Mail Clerk/Office Assistant to ensure the efficient flow of corporate communications. In this role, you will be the backbone of the department’s document management, responsible for processing high volumes of mail and digitizing records so they can be accessed by various departments across the company. • Separate, open, sort, and scan large volumes of incoming mail on a daily basis.
• Move mail bins to loading docks for US Mail pick-up and deliver checks to various internal departments.
• Perform data entry into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to track and manage mail distribution.
• Upload scanned mail to the corporate database for departmental retrieval.
• Print and mail out essential materials to members.
• Maintain high attention to detail while standing for extended periods to operate scanning equipment.
