Job Overview: 
We are seeking machinists to join our well-established company, offering competitive pay rates from $23 to $35 per hour based on experience. Responsibilities range from operating small CNC and manual machines to programming large CNC machines and handling heavy parts, with opportunities for growth and training available.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Program and operate small to large CNC machines from detailed drawings.
  • Operate manual lathes and Mills, including loading parts, initiating machine operations, and performing routine measurements. 
  • Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications. 
  • Set up and rig large parts, including those weighing between 20,000 and 50,000 pounds. 
  • Utilize cranes and other heavy equipment to move and position large components. 
  • Solve complex machining problems, including determining appropriate tools and techniques for specific tasks. 
  • Ensure high precision and quality of machined parts through detailed measurement and inspection. 

Requirements:
  • Proven experience with CNC or manual machining (specific experience level will determine pay scale).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with programming CNC machines and/or operating large manual machinery.
  • Comfort and competence in handling and rigging large, heavy parts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and advance from entry-level to experienced machinist roles.
  • Previous experience with both small and large CNC machines.
  • Experience in a similar industry or environment handling large and complex parts.
