Machine Shop Helper

Key Responsibilities

• Support setup and operation of belt grinding machines
• Load and unload parts and assist with belt changes and tracking
• Perform basic grinding, deburring, smoothing, and surface prep
• Inspect parts using calipers and basic measuring tools
• Monitor quality, spot defects, and report issues
• Handle materials, sort, label, and package finished parts
• Assist with routine machine maintenance and documentation

What We’re Looking For

• Manufacturing or grinding experience is a plus but not required
• Willingness to learn machine operations and follow instructions
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic measurement tools

Shift: 1st Shift (6:00am - 2:30pm with mandatory OT plus alternate weekends) 

Pay rate: $20/hr
