Hours 8-4:30 or 7-3:30

$21-$23 (with steel cutting experience)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Picking and staging feedstock for fulfillment orders
• Breaking down bulk bundles for customer-specific orders
• Packaging of material to customer requirements
• Operating a forklift to move material as needed
• Cutting to size on either a cut off saw or plate saw
• Proper completion of paperwork and work order confirmation for shipping/receiving on the computer
• All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Requirements

• 2 years of similar job experience preferred
• Regular attendance
• Basic math skills required
• Knowledge in reading measurement tools such as a tape measure or caliper
• Basic computer skills and/or comfort using a computer
• Successful candidates will be enrolled in a registered apprenticeship program as part of their onboarding and new hire training

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to lift and carry no more than 50 lbs on a regular basis

Safety Gear Requirements:

• Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times, including but not limited to:
• • Safety glasses
  • Protective gloves
  • Steel-toe or safety-toe footwear
