MACHINE OPERATOR | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: Columbus NE 68601 – 100% on-site
• Payrate: $20/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | 6pm-6am, 2-week rotating schedule – 2-on/2-off

MACHINE OPERATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Machine Operator will perform routine production tasks—including filling, packaging, and inspecting—while maintaining precise records in compliance with FDA, GMP, and ISO9000 standards. This role is responsible for following standard operating procedures in a team-based environment to ensure production goals and quality requirements are met. The position requires a high level of reliability for a 12-hour rotating night shift and the ability to perform basic technical tasks and math calculations.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

MACHINE OPERATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine production functions including cleaning, filling, utility operations, packing, and assembling.
• Conduct labeling and inspecting under general supervision.
• Maintain accurate records and logs in accordance with FDA, GMPs, and ISO9000
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and make effective decisions relative to position requirements.
• Apply basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.

MACHINE OPERATOR | REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with co-workers and Team Leads.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend specifications in English; basic math calculation skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and a willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.
