Machine Operator – Pay 

  • $17.00 - $20.00 per hour 


Machine Operator – Schedule 

  • Days | 6:00am-6:00pm 
  • Nights | 6:00pm-6:00am 

 

Machine Operator – Job Summary 

In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous operation of assigned production workstation in line with the company's manufacturing standards. 

 

Machine Operator – Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for operating various manual and automated equipment in the production process  
  • Work and train with Maintenance to be able to perform repairs and assist in machine change overs  
  • Work with others to produce quality products that meet customers' needs  
  • Provides quality work and ensures accurate recordings   
  • Keep machine operating   
  • Adhering to all company policies including but not limited to: GMP, PPE, Food Safety, Safety, Gluten Free, Sanitation, etc.  
  • Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and following safety regulations  
  • Determine and report malfunctions to the appropriate people  
  • Performing preventative maintenance on machines as required   
  • Remaining familiar with the basic machine functions to perform the tasks stated above  
  • Other Machine Operators or the Production Lead will be back up support to this position  
  • Performing other work-related duties as assigned 

 

Machine Operator – Requirements 

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check  
  • Previous experience operating manufacturing machinery preferred   
  • Great attention to detail  
  • Basic math and reading comprehension   
  • Good overall knowledge of safety, sanitation, manufacturing operations and quality  
  • Team player – ability to work well with other employees, departments, etc.  
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in English   
  • Ability to use basic technology (Will be utilizing Outlook, Safefood, etc.) 
  • Ability to lift and/or move weight up to 25 lbs. 
  • Ability to work standing, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms 
  • Non-slip shoes required
