Job Title: Machine Operator

Compensation: $18-20/hr

Machine Operator – 1st & 2nd Shift

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM (+$2/hr shift differential)

Objective

This position is responsible for operating manufacturing machinery to convert raw materials into finished parts that meet customer specifications. The role involves executing production work orders, maintaining quality standards, and upholding safety protocols throughout the manufacturing process. Full training is provided from the first day.

Responsibilities

• Operate slitting and/or die-cutting machines in accordance with assigned work orders
• Set up machinery and interpret technical drawings to fulfill production requirements
• Use measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy and ensure finished parts meet specification
• Maintain production logs, machine maintenance records, and quality reports
• Follow all safety regulations and workplace guidelines at all times

Requirements

• Ability to read work instructions and technical drawings in English
• Basic proficiency in math, reading, writing, and science; must be able to read a ruler
• Basic computer skills
• Manual dexterity sufficient to handle blade setup, material evaluation, and measuring tools
• Ability to distinguish between colors when working with applicable products
• Ability to communicate effectively in an occasionally loud factory environment
• Capable of standing for extended periods; occasional squatting or kneeling may be required

Preferences

• Prior hands-on or production work experience is a plus, though not required — entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
• Demonstrated history of consistent, reliable employment
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments or industrial machinery
