Job Summary We are seeking a Machine Operator (Trim Saw Operator) responsible for leading trimming operations within a manufacturing plant. This role focuses on maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring product quality, and operating and troubleshooting trim saw equipment to meet production and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Set up and stage trim saw operations by scanning order barcodes and preparing equipment Adjust guides and perform manual modifications to maintain required tolerances and product specifications Operate and calibrate trim saw equipment, including blade and sanding belt changes Execute production runs according to schedules while maintaining quality standards Perform regular quality checks and measurements before and after processing Verify accuracy and clarity of printed labels and markings Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance tasks Complete downtime reports and perform total productive maintenance (TPM) activities Ensure adherence to safety protocols and perform safety checks on equipment and tooling Manage inventory within the production area and support material flow Use hand tools such as wrenches and mallets as required Maintain focus on productivity, efficiency, and quality throughout operations Collaborate with team members and communicate issues effectively Perform additional duties as assigned by management Required Qualifications Lockout/Tagout certification (or ability to complete training on-site) 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations and maintenance Ability to read and interpret production schedules, tickets, and specifications Proficiency in measurement calculations and ability to read a tape measure Experience operating computer-controlled machinery Ability to perform quality and safety checks consistently Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high concentration levels Ability to use hand tools effectively Physical ability to lift, move, and handle materials (with assistance when required) Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, and reaching Ability to work in varying environmental conditions including temperature changes and dust exposure Good attendance and flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed Preferred Qualifications Prior experience operating trim saw or similar cutting equipment Familiarity with production processes, inventory management, and quality standards in manufacturing environments Education: High School
