Job Description:
The client is seeking five (5) Machine Operators to support production operations on 1st shift at their Burgaw, NC manufacturing facility.
This role involves setting up and operating production machinery in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines. Machine Operators will work with computer-controlled, automatic, or semi-automatic equipment to ensure accurate, timely completion of production tasks while meeting quality and performance standards.
The position works under the close direction of senior personnel and is well suited for candidates with entry-level manufacturing experience or those looking to grow within a production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate production machines following established procedures
  • Use computer-controlled equipment to select, position, and secure machinery
  • Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Monitor production output to ensure specifications and quality standards are met
  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational guidelines
  • Report issues or defects to supervisors as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 0–1 year of general manufacturing or production experience
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work early morning shifts and overtime as required
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Preferred Skills:
  • Prior machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with automated or semi-automated production equipment
